Our two brave first research assistants are unfortunately leaving us for bigger and better things (Lara to graduate school in neuroscience at UC Irvine; Alexa to apply for medical school). We'll miss them! Here's our inaugural STAAR going-away lunch, with delicious food from Tootsie's on Stanford's campus followed by a stroll in the cactus garden!
